What I stand for:

  • Experience - With eight years of experience as an EUSD board member, I have supported increasing teachers’ salaries, investing in our school sites, and meeting with parents across the district.

  • Academic Excellence - Under my leadership as a board member, Eureka Union has maintained the highest test scores in our region on state assessments and has steadily improved.

  • Investments in Learning - With my support, EUSD has made significant new investments in STEAM, world language, technology, GATE and more.

  • Safety - I have been diligent about keeping our schools safe. I have made sure we invest in new technologies, updated our campuses, and instituted policies and procedures to protect our students and staff.

  • Fiscal Conservativism - We must invest as needed while conservatively protecting our district’s funds.

When we moved to this area 15 years ago, we picked Granite Bay because of the Eureka Union School District. Many families make that same choice when deciding where to live. We all want to give our children the best education available and we are willing to pay more to live in great school districts such as EUSD. Great schools improve home values!
